we teamed up with amazing artists and sozial projects.
We want to share their visions, encourage to participate
and share a positive message - we can do it!
All exhibited lightboxes are available to purchase

And of course all artists and projects participating.
Don't just watch the dying in the Mediterranean!
That has always been the central drive of all Sea-Watch activists.
Sea-Watch e.V. is a non-profit initiative dedicated to the civilian sea rescue of refugees.
In view of the man-made disaster, Sea-Watch provides emergency aid where government agencies fail.
At the same time, we demand and force the rescue by the responsible European institutions and publicly stand up for legal escape routes.

Are fewer people on the run
How many people have you been able to save this year?
Was wünscht ihr euch
No. Despite the global pandemic, more people around the world are on the run than ever before.
Since 2019, the number of people who dare the life-threatening crossing over the central Mediterranean to Europe has been increasing year by year.
Refugee movements due to crises such as the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban, ongoing civil wars or the catastrophic consequences of climate change make it clear that people have no choice and, even during a global pandemic, they leave their homes in search of a better life.
Our ship and aircraft crew can look back on a year full of difficult missions. With our two rescue ships Sea-Watch 3 and Sea-Watch 4, we were able to rescue 1,992 people from distress at sea from January to October 2021 in 5 challenging missions and bring them to a safe harbor.
We want nothing other than what we wanted when we were founded.
A Europe that will not leave anyone to die in search of a better life.
From the English Channel, over the Canary Islands, the central Mediterranean and the Greek islands, to the Balkan route and the Polish-Belarusian border.
We want to see the fortress of Europe fall on all sides!
It is at the core of our work to draw attention to the man-made catastrophe of Europe's external borders and to hold those responsible who maintain the inhuman status quo.
But that is only possible if refugees are not forgotten and civil society does not stop talking and reporting about these grievances.
Financing two rescue ships and two reconnaissance missions is a major challenge.
Our projects are financed exclusively by donations.
Only with the continuous support of our donors can we ensure our operations in the future.
It is public pressure that makes governments take action. We have to shape the Europe we want to live in. We have to take to the streets, be loud, and not just stand by the day-to-day violations of human rights.
We need the courage of civil society to stand up against the inhumane EU policies.
Whether at demonstrations, political campaigns or in voluntary work, there are many ways to actively campaign for a colorful and open Europe. Get involved in initiatives like the Seebrücke or in local welcome alliances!
